Since graduating with a First in BA Visual Communication, I’ve mainly focused on Information design, placemaking and wayfinding projects.
I was awarded 'Best Student Typographer' by Plus International Design Festival at graduation, and was offered the opportunity to create the wayfinding and signage for the following years festival in Birmingham.
I completed a short course at the New York Film Academy in Film editing and production. Working with a small team filming on 16mm film. I completed a short film production in Final Cut pro, that didn’t win any Oscars.
I’ve completed a few internships — firstly at Meta in Berlin, then Pipers in London helping design maps for the London Olympics.
I worked for Apple throughout university as a mac specialist, helping to solve users problems. Running workshops and summer camps for school kids inspiring them to use macs to build their own creative projects.
I went on to work for Lufthansa Systems in Zurich in designing electronic pilot charts for printed manuals and electronic flightbags. I developed a new design system for the A380 aircraft coming into service later that year.
I enjoy working with teams to build projects that solve problems for people. Developing solutions across both printed media and screens alike. I like to think I can learn new software quickly, and adapt to any project requirements as needed. I'm looking to build experience, learn and become a better designer.
